Reactance : Doing the Opposite

We have seen that children often do the exact opposite of what they are ask to do.The wife is often heard saying to the husband, from the first day of marriage "Why you always disagree with me? Why you always do the exact opposite of my wish ? This is psychology of human being that sometimes they do the exact opposite of what they were ask to do.Another way we can get this by saying that people often to the same thing which they were not allowed to do.This is because of "Reactance" , it is human behaviour when they see that somebody is restricted them or somebody is snatching their freedom, so people do the exact opposite.In reactance people normally does the wrong thing, like children do the wrong thing when they dis obey their elders.I see that normally the reactance is bad for the individual or the group committing the reactance, If we see that it is good for us then we don't have to go opposite.

Lets read what The great leader , Most brave person said on the occasion of the Opening Ceremony of "The State Bank of Pakistan" on 1st July, 1948.

I shall watch with keenness the work of your Research Organization in evolving banking practices compatible with Islamic ideas of social and economic life. The economic system of the West has created almost insoluble problems for humanity and to many of us it appears that only a miracle can save it from disaster that is not facing the world. It has failed to do justice between man and man and to eradicate friction from the international field. On the contrary, it was largely responsible for the two world wars in the last half century. The Western world, in spite of its advantages, of mechanization and industrial efficiency is today in a worse mess than ever before in history. The adoption of Western economic theory and practice will not help us in achieving our goal of creating a happy and contended people.  We must work our destiny in our own way and present to the world an economic system based on true Islamic concept of equality of manhood and social justice. We will thereby be fulfilling our mission as Muslims and giving to humanity the message of peace which alone can save it and secure the welfare, happiness and prosperity of mankind.

1. In this Speech , Quaid e Azam showed he wanted Pakistan to bring their own system that is on the Islamic principles and what system we have??? Very simple , the system which is exact opposite of the Islamic system , which is based on the Interest(Sood).That is reactance.

2. Quaid e Azam said that the western system has created in soluble problem for humanity and a miracle can save it and what we are doing???Following the same system and waiting for a miracle to save our economy.

3.He said that the system of west has failed to do justice between man and man and to eradicate friction from the international field and what we and media is showing??? The Islamic system is based on injustice , it takes the freedom from the people and the justice is only in the western system.

4.He said that the western system is responsible for the two world wars and what we see???We are adopting the same system and asking each other that why Pakistan is in state of war since 1947.

5.He said we have to work to make our own destiny and adaptation of the system of west will not help us and not surprisingly what we are doing??? Adapting the same system, never try to make our own system and using their system to solve our problems, which was the main reason for creating that problem.

6.He said we full fill our mission as a Muslim  in the state and give the message to the world.
what we are doing???Debating about the man himself that was he secular or Muslim and wanting our state to be secular.

Is it the worst form of Reactance or not????

Please try and understand what Quaid wanted and what we are doing.If we say that he is "Quaid e Azam" , the greatest leader then follow him not use him.
