Pakistan: In Search of Heroes

It is very common to hear that the children are not willing to learn and are not serious for the studies. As I see that my own brother is not very serious about his studies, he plays Cricket more than the studies. It is very easy to blame all the comforts given to the children nowadays but my theory is little bit different. When I study this case psychological, I came to a good reason behind that.Children or teen follow the marks of the person whom they see famous , respectable and successful. In today's society who is respectable? Cricketer, Actor ,the one who does the morning show, Big businessman , Singer and the list goes on, have you ever heard a person in Pakistan who is famous for doing studies or famous due to courage to speak truth or a brave person? 99% will reply in negative, It is a bitter truth.

When I was growing up, I have many role models for me or What many people says "Heroes".When I was young I just wanted to be in Army or Air force and wanted to lay down my life for my motherland.I wanted to be just like Hakeem Muhammad Saeed for his efforts for the education ,I wanted to be like my Teacher and wanted to do something with education. It's all because I saw them successful because at that time the success meant respectful and not rich.Today after all the media efforts who is respectable? the person with a lot of money so nowadays nobody wants to die for country, be a teacher and earn less than the others and not like Hakeem Muhammad Saeed because he did many community service.I blame media for this also in creating the false heroes for the nation.Like media starts the talks on the 1971 war and they justifies the creation of Bangladesh and tell me who will respect the great Rashid Minhas who laid down his life for Pakistan, who was stopping the Bangladesh creation.Today's teen or children see that the Pakistan was on the wrong side so who want to be in army today? not many.Abdul Qadir Mulla who was against the creation of Bangladesh , who was a real Pakistani Patriot was not presented well on the media in recent past and he was "murdered" in Bangladesh by the government. So what today's society will feel that Don't say the truth , don't fight for Pakistan , if you are in other country then praise that country not Pakistan.Recently we see how South African cricketer Imran Tahir was made hero in our media for praising south Africa .

All of us know about the condition of teachers in our countries, Government Schools and colleges are full of non deserving people, who are there just because of their language not on the basis of their education. No student today want to be Teacher because they see in today's society (in Pakistan) teachers get no respect and insulted by Political students and teachers are also behind others when it comes to money making and what our society teaches today that the most important thing today is money, so teachers are not Hero for the children or teens.Who is hero today? who is getting the overly respect? Cricketer , Drama actor , Host of morning show and the leader of the political party.Media has also created the doubt in minds of the people about the real Heroes of Pakistan, like Is Quaid e Azam a secular or Islamic Person? Is Allama Iqbal is only a Punjabi Poet? and many other doubts and media is trying to create the Common heroes of World , like follow Barrack Obama and you will be popular like Malala , who got the fame just for writing that Obama is her Favourite personality.

So what I wanted to say is that "People please make the people who deserve to be Hero of the society and who deserves to be followed, like an Educated Person , a Good Muslim , One who does community service, One who stands for the right, One who speaks Truth...otherwise we will not have anyone to follow and our Nation will only live on the Past heroes or new Fake Heroes"
Hope you Understand.

Thank You

  2. Agree . But we can overcome this if parents and teachers will put their effort in right way. I mean a child's mind is easy to convert. Mostly they think in the way as the people around them do . If parents continuously keep blaming the wrong heroes infront of their children when media is showing them in a good way they will have same perception about things as their parents or elders have. Similarly if teachers keep discussing about the right heroes, or the right things children will do remember them . Or may be they slowly start following them. Children absorb the things what they are exposed to.

    1. Yes , You are absolutely right teachers and parents can play and should play an important part for making heroes.I understand my responsibility that is why I keep telling my Students about the fake heroes , real heroes and some heroes which have been erased from our history , like Allama Asad , so parents should also understand their role and explain the importance of Truth rather than money, to their children.

    2. Importance of truth rather than money , i agree . But practically parents are not understanding this too . They are spending more time for earning money than the time they spend with their children. I know their intentions are not wrong and they are actually right in a way. They are doing this for giving their children a better future. I'll be doing the same might be if i am on their place. But what we need to understand is the biggest gift parents can give to their children is time . To teach children what matters in life.

    3. But nowadays parents also think that money is more important so they teach the same, also they are busy in money making, they are working more just to earn more. You are right they should be giving more time to children to make them understand the importance of right thing.

    1. Yes, even our beloved prophet , my master Muhammad S.A.W. was a Teacher.
“The Messenger of Allah came out of one of his apartments one day and entered the mosque, where he saw two circles, one reciting Qur’ân and supplicating to Allah, and the other learning and teaching. The Prophet SAW said:

‘Both of them are good. These people are reciting Qur’ân and supplicating to Allah, and if He wills He will give them, and if He wills He will withhold from them. And these people are learning and teaching. Verily I have been sent as a teacher.’ Then he sat down with them.” (Sunan Ibn e Majah, Book of Sunnah, Hadith no 229, Classified as Daeef By Allama Albani)

People with the broken heart

According to palmistry, our hand has three main lines. Heart line , Head line and Life line. Every lines shows a particular trend or situation from which the person has gone through, going or will go in the future. I want your attention towards the heart line. The top line that starts beneath the first finger , sometimes from between first and middle finger and sometimes from under the middle finger. This line describes the situation or destiny of the person that is related with his or her heart. What i have learnt and seen is that a person who has a broken heart has special type of heart line. The heart line having a small boxes on it , is facing a heart breaking period and in some books i have read that the heart line of broken heart people always dies towards the end. So if you want to see that the person has faced or will face the heart break check out the heart line. As a hobby when i read the hands of different people (mostly my friends) or sometimes complete strangers i

Thank You Sir !

I was very worried at that time , the college timings were going to end but i was not able to ask the question i wanted to ask.At last myself and my friend Arif were free from all the classes and then i asked him to go with me to ask that question. It was an afternoon in 2008 and i was in D.J Sindh Govt. Science college , completing the last year of BSc.The worry was that i just started the teaching and then i was stuck in a topic's basic understanding. The Topic was "Phase Angle" and i was unable to understand the basic idea behind "Initial phase angle".We met with few teachers to get the basic idea of the topic , one teacher said "it is impossible to define everything in Physics", one  teacher explained the mathematical definition and what one teacher said was flown away above my head. When we were leaving the department of Physics ,I saw him and thank God that time because i was sure that then i will have the right answer.I asked the same question fro

Its All In The Mind

Our mind mainly consists of two parts: one is called conscious mind (12%) and the other one is called sub conscious mind(88%). These two parts are very different to each other. Our conscious mind wants reason, it learn, it reacts or all about conscious mind is summarised as the sensible part of our mind. Now if we discussed about the sub conscious mind then it is somewhat different from the first part. The subconscious mind works as a tape recorder, when one thing is stored in it then it repeats just like magnetic tape. It doesn’t want reason, it records rather than learn. The subconscious mind knows how to walk, how to talk and regular working that we repeat time and time again. When we records one time that how to walk then every time we don’t have to think but we just act as the method is recorded in our sub conscious mind. How often we have seen that when we spent some time with a person who is suffering from a disease, after some time we feel that we are also suffering fro
