The predictions are of total devastation! According to some forecasts entire cities will be destroyed by enormous tsunamis, earthquakes and Category 5 hurricanes; meteors will wain down fiery death from heaven; and human history will come to a violent end.
In this Post i will try to prove with my efforts done in last many moths, that world will not end in 2012.
According To Quran
The holy book, Quran is one of the most respected pieces of literature, for its scientific approach and accurate calculations about the future. The Quran has stated that the world will come to an end and there will be signs to show that the end is coming. There are various signs (as many as up to 100) given in the Sunnah and Quran for the coming of Judgment Day. These signs can be divided into two parts, minor and major. The major signs include
1. And you will see people entering religion of God in crowds. (Qur'an Surat an-Nasr, 1-2)
2. the coming of the one-eyed Dajjal (Evil Antichrist), Imam Mahdi and then Prophet Jesus (who will combine forces of good, against evil), (Qur'an 43:61)
3. the blowing of Trumpet and the minor signs will precede them.
4. the Earth will experience an earthquake that will cause mountains to crash down. The Earth's inner body will break out, and the Earth will be stretched out.99:1, 69:13-14, 70:8, 84:3-4, 20:105-107, 99:1-6.
5. Earthquakes from the East, the West, and one in the Arabian Peninsula
6. Gog (yahjuj) & Magog (mahjuj) will be released and will destroy the crops, animals, water and kill everything.
7. Smoke will spread and cause non-believers to fall ill whereas the believers will catch a mere cold. Later, Allah will send a cool wind, taking life (gently) from all of the believers, leaving only the Kufaars (unbelievers) to see the last day till the Day Of Judgment will arrive.
It becomes clear that 2012 is not going to be the end of the world.
According to Bible
So what does the book of Revelation reveal about the end of the world?
Revelation was written toward the end of the first century by the apostle John, apparently the last of Jesus’ original 12 disciples. It is a divinely inspired prophecy predominantly concerned with the events preceding the second coming of Jesus Christ. John’s vision reveal that before Christ returns humanity will suffer devastating wars, disease pandemics, religious strife and famine on a global scale. Many of these happenings are trends we see announced in the daily headlines and newscasts today.
Watching your world teeter on economy chaos can leave you anxious. Don’t despair! In the Olivet Prophecy Jesus declared that He will return to save humanity from total destruction (Matthew 24:22). Revelation tells us about the time of deliverance Jesus predicted.
Humanity is not going to be annihilated in a great fireball caused by asteroids or exploding atomic weapons. The Bible clearly shows that humanity is not going to experience extinction in 2012. Sometime in the future, Jesus Christ will return to save humanity from destruction. Between now and then, you can live in hopeful anticipation of that day by turning the control of your life over to your Creator.
According to vedas
Vedas teach that in the material world, everything from atoms to planetary systems live through cycles of birth, growth, aging, and death. They state that our planetary system lives as long as its creator lives and is completely destroyed when he dies.
Brahma who created our universe on commission of Lord Krishna lives “only” one hundred years. These are Brahma’s years though. One Brahma year consists of 365 Brahma days. Each day has one thousand periods called Yuga.
Every Mega Yuga (0.001 of a Brahma day) lasts 4 million 320 thousand of earth years. According to that knowledge our planetary system lives 4 million 320 thousand times 1000, times 365, times 100 earth years. We are in the middle of Brahma’s life now and our universe will live about 50 more Brahma years. The final collapse is expected when he reaches his 100th birthday which is going to be in 150 trillion 40 billion earth years.
One Yuga has four Sub Yugas that are often compared with seasons of the year. Satya or Krita yuga (Golden age) is spring of our planetary system which last 4800 celestial years or 1,728,000 human years. Regarding the other cycles the duration of each gradually decreases by a quarter. Treta yuga or Silver age is summer, Dvapara yuga or Bronze age is fall and Kali yuga or Iron age is winter of the material world. Starting with Spring, the life span and piety of living beings decrease from season to season reaching their minimum in Kali yuga. Iron age is the lowest, most impure, and vicious, where ignorance rules. At the end of every season and every cosmic year, the material world is partially destroyed just as the nature revives with every spring.
We live in Kali yuga or the Age of quarrel. According to Vedic scriptures it began about 5 thousand years ago at midnight (00:00) 18 February 3102 BCE and will last 427 thousand years. That means that the nearest partial destruction is appointed at the end of the Age of Kali in 427 thousand years.
It becomes obvious that the world is not going to end in 2012!
According to Science :
Remember the Y2K scare? It came and went without much of a whimper because of adequate planning and analysis of the situation. Impressive movie special effects aside, Dec. 21, 2012, won't be the end of the world as we know. It will, however, be another winter solstice.
Much like Y2K, 2012 has been analyzed and the science of the end of the Earth thoroughly studied. Contrary to some of the common beliefs out there, the science behind the end of the world quickly unravels when pinned down to the 2012 timeline. Below, NASA Scientists answer several questions that we're frequently asked regarding 2012.
Question (Q): Are there any threats to the Earth in 2012? Many Internet websites say the world will end in December 2012.
Answer (A): Nothing bad will happen to the Earth in 2012. Our planet has been getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years, and credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012.
Q: What is the origin of the prediction that the world will end in 2012?
A: The story started with claims that Nibiru, a supposed planet discovered by the Sumerians, is headed toward Earth. This catastrophe was initially predicted for May 2003, but when nothing happened the doomsday date was moved forward to December 2012. Then these two fables were linked to the end of one of the cycles in the ancient Mayan calendar at the winter solstice in 2012 -- hence the predicted doomsday date of December 21, 2012.
Q: Does the Mayan calendar end in December 2012?
A: Just as the calendar you have on your kitchen wall does not cease to exist after December 31, the Mayan calendar does not cease to exist on December 21, 2012. This date is the end of the Mayan long-count period but then -- just as your calendar begins again on January 1 -- another long-count period begins for the Mayan calendar.
These three different religions and Science show that the world is not going to end in 2012. Umpteen statements can be found on the net, some validating the end of world predicition whereas others contradicting this cataclysmic prediction. I have tried to analyse this prediction according to the three major religions in the world and all shows that the end of world is NOT in 2012.
Disclaimer:I am not a religious expert ,with the help of my friends from these three religions i have gathered the data.If you find any mistake in the verses then let me know.I will be very thankful to you.May God forgive me for any mistake.
